Mercado Monkey is an advertising agency in Torreón that designs and coordinates billboards, banners, print materials, vehicle and storefront graphics, signage and packaging, as well as digital campaigns. It works with print and sign vendors in La Laguna, checks color proofs before production and measures response with QR codes and dedicated WhatsApp numbers.
Torreón is a city you get around by car. The Periférico Raúl López Sánchez ring road, Bulevar Independencia, Bulevar Revolución, Calzada Colón and the highways to Gómez Palacio, Matamoros and San Pedro draw thousands of eyes a day, and for many businesses a well-placed billboard or a well-wrapped truck is still the fastest way to let all of La Laguna know they exist. The problem is that most outdoor ads are designed like an Instagram post: too much text, small type and nothing to remember.
A billboard is read in three or four seconds, from a distance and often with the sun in your eyes. That's why we work with a single idea, few words, strong contrast and one easy-to-remember detail: a short name, a well-known address or a simple WhatsApp number. The same goes for the delivery and service vehicles that cross from Torreón to Gómez and Lerdo all day: they're moving ads seen at every stoplight, in the supermarket parking lot and outside every customer they visit.
Beyond design, we coordinate production with printers, sign makers and packaging manufacturers in the region. We prepare files with the dimensions, bleed and resolution each vendor requires, request color proofs and check the installation. And we connect print with digital: a QR code on the brochure that opens your catalog, a dedicated WhatsApp number on the billboard to measure how many messages it brings in, or a Meta campaign in the same area as the billboard to reinforce the message. If the brand side interests you, see also branding in Torreón.

Recent work

La Brasa Norteña Taquería
La Brasa Norteña has 23 locations between northern Mexico and the American Southwest, but its website was Spanish-only and had no page for each city. We built a 40-page bilingual site that is generated from a single data file.

Casa Velo Persianas & Tapiz
Casa Velo sells blinds, curtains and wallpaper in nine stores across northern Mexico, but its old website sent every request to a single inbox. We built a new site with a store locator, catalogs and an in-home measurement request that goes to each store's WhatsApp.

Hidrantes y Rociadores del Norte
The Hidrantes y Rociadores del Norte website was showing casino pages on Google and had four administrator accounts nobody had created. We cleaned up WordPress, locked down access, set up backups and then replaced it with a static website that won back its spot on Google.
