What is MonkeyInventario?

MonkeyInventario is a Mercado Monkey microapp for lightweight inventory control. It logs receipts, issues and transfers from a phone by scanning barcodes or QR codes, keeps stock levels in the business's own Google Sheets file and sends WhatsApp alerts when a product hits its minimum. It's set up with the client's brand and connected to their store, website or CRM.

What MonkeyInventario does

Scan with your phone

Reads barcodes and QR codes with the phone camera to log receipts, issues and counts without a dedicated scanner.

Google Sheets as the database

Your stock lives in your own Google Sheets file, which you can check, filter and share with your accountant.

Low-stock alerts

A WhatsApp or email alert when a product reaches its reorder point, with a suggested order quantity.

Multiple warehouses

Stock by location or warehouse, with transfers between them and who approved each one.

Movement log

Every movement is logged with date, user and reason, so you know what happened when numbers don't add up.

Cycle counts

Quick counts by zone or category from your phone, with discrepancies flagged for review.

05FAQ

What people ask us

How long does it take to set up MonkeyInventario?
With your product list in Excel or Google Sheets, MonkeyInventario is ready in three to five business days. The initial count depends on the size of your warehouse; a mid-size storeroom usually takes one or two days with trained staff.
Do I need to buy barcode scanners?
No. MonkeyInventario uses the phone camera to read barcodes and QR codes. If your warehouse is very busy you can add inexpensive Bluetooth scanners, but they're optional.
Who owns the inventory data?
You do. The information lives in a Google Sheets file in your company's account. Even if you stopped using MonkeyInventario, you'd keep all your data and movement history.
Does it connect to my online store or CRM?
Yes. It can sync stock with Shopify or WooCommerce so you never sell what you don't have, and deduct inventory when a MonkeyCotiza quote becomes an order. It also connects to other systems with an API.
Does it work for a hardware store with two locations in Torreón?
Yes. Each location sees and moves its own stock, transfers between them are logged and the owner sees consolidated inventory. It's a typical setup for businesses downtown and on the Periférico that share a supplier.
