Cardiology appointments that arrive on WhatsApp complete

Cardiología Integral Nazas had a one-page website that didn't show up on Google and a front desk swamped with calls asking the same questions. We built a seven-page site that answers those questions, shows whether the clinic is open and sends appointment requests to WhatsApp with every detail included.

What were the results?

For Cardiología Integral Nazas in Torreón, we built a 7-page website with 29 frequently asked questions marked up with FAQPage schema, an appointment form that opens WhatsApp with the details prefilled, an "open now" hours indicator, an llms.txt file and an optimized Google Business Profile. Within five months, new appointments from the website grew 62%.

01The challenge

Where they started

The clinic is led by a cardiologist with 18 years in practice, joined by a pediatric cardiologist, two echocardiography technicians and a receptionist. Nearly all new patients came through referrals from other doctors, and their website was a single page with a phone number and a map.

The front desk took about 40 calls a day, and more than half were repeat questions: whether they accepted a certain insurance plan, how long an echocardiogram takes, whether patients need to fast before a stress test, whether they were open on Saturday. Meanwhile, anyone searching "cardiologist in Torreón" on Google found other practices first.

02The solution

What we built

We designed a seven-page website: home, medical team, tests (EKG, echocardiogram, stress test, Holter and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring), test preparation, insurance, FAQ and contact. Each test page explains duration, preparation and purpose, written together with the doctor and reviewed by him.

With the receptionist we gathered the 29 most repeated questions and answered them on a page with FAQPage schema. The appointment form asks for name, test, referring doctor and preferred time; on submit it opens WhatsApp with everything written out, so the front desk only has to confirm. A widget reads the clinic's hours and shows "open now" or the time it reopens.

For AI search engines we published an llms.txt file with services, hours and doctors (you can create your own with our llms.txt generator) and marked up the site with MedicalClinic and Physician schema. In parallel we optimized the Google Business Profile: categories, services, real photos of the practice and a reply to every review.

The numbers

Five months later, the website brings in 55 new appointments a month, up from 34, and WhatsApp clicks went from 118 to 401. The clinic ranks in the top three Google Maps results for "cardiologist in Torreón" and calls from the Google profile doubled.

What the team noticed most was the front desk: calls asking how to prepare for a test fell by more than half, because patients arrive having already read the guide. ChatGPT and Perplexity now also cite the FAQ page when someone asks about heart tests in La Laguna.

“My receptionist no longer spends the day explaining whether patients need to fast. They show up informed, and appointments come in on WhatsApp with everything we need.”

05FAQ

Questions about this project

What should a cardiologist's website include to attract patients?
At a minimum: one page per test with preparation and duration, real FAQs, visible hours, location and a quick way to book. At Cardiología Integral Nazas in Torreón, that plus 29 questions with FAQ schema and WhatsApp booking lifted new appointments from the website by 62%.
Is it safe to book medical appointments over WhatsApp?
The form only asks for basic contact details and the type of test; it never asks for diagnoses or medical records. The information goes straight to the clinic's WhatsApp and is not stored on the website, which limits how much sensitive data sits on outside servers.
What is an llms.txt file for at a medical clinic?
It is a plain-text file that summarizes services, doctors, hours and location so assistants like ChatGPT or Perplexity can read it easily. At this cardiology clinic it helped those assistants cite the FAQ page when answering questions about heart tests in Torreón.
